bc_minimum_wage

British Columbia general minimum wage (ESDC historical rates)

The general minimum wage in British Columbia on a date (default today), and optionally its history since 1965, from Employment and Social Development Canada's historical minimum wage file. Returns the rate in force and the date it took effect. If the file lists two different rates for the date that governs (as it did on 24 Oct 2026 for 2026-06-01, $17.85 and $18.25), no single rate is returned and both are shown: this tool never chooses between conflicting rows or corrects a date. General rate only (not special rates for liquor servers, farm workers or live-in camps), and not legal advice.

Cost: 1 unit of your allowance (see Rate limits).
