adult_corrections_counts

Statistics Canada table 35-10-0154-01 for British Columbia, fiscal years (April to March) 1978/1979 to the latest: average daily counts of adults in provincial custody (total actual-in, sentenced, remand, other statuses, on-register), the incarceration rate per 100,000 adults, and community supervision (total, probation, conditional sentence, provincial parole) with the probation rate. Without year_from and year_to the latest fiscal year is returned with all 11 statistics; give both (form 2022/2023) for a series, or one alone for an open-ended range. statistic narrows to one. A value the table does not publish is null with its status (for example other statuses before 1999/2000), never 0, and is not to be estimated. Aggregate counts only; no individual records; provincial corrections, not federal prisons.
